I believe I live and move and have my being through God. I believe that I am generally at enmity with God because he is righteous in all he does, and I am not. I believe I am generally selfish and self-seeking in my opinions, thoughts, actions...really in everything. I believe this is the human condition. I believe God made a way where there seemed to be no way through Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus paid the price for my sins and I have been eternally reconciled with God. I'm sure you'll get to know my believes through my blogs. Suffice it to say, I am not worthy, but God choose me anyway.
Honestly, I have a hard time finding community. It takes a lot out of me to socialize although I enjoy it. I find it easier to relate to Non-Christians - I'm sure I'll need to write a blog to expand on that idea. Suffice it to say, many Christians seem to have a righteousness that comes from themselves and their group. I get that - I am a Christian after all. We're as messy as - some of us, messier - than anyone else. I have found good community in the mystics (Fenelon, Madam Guyon, etc). I also enjoy C.S. Lewis, Watchman Nee, John Piper, and many more. I find a large community can be found among the saints.
